Tony Krouk is our Family Law partner. He was one of the first lawyers in
New South Wales to gain specialist accreditation in Family Law, and continues
to practise almost exclusively in this jurisdiction.
Tony first launched his career in the public sector, in law reform
and high level government policy positions. In 1986 he moved to Phillips
Fox Lawyers where he cultivated his skills and experience in both commercial
litigation and Family Law.
Joining our firm in 1989, he obtained specialist accreditation in
Family Law in 1993 and became a partner of the firm in 1995.
Tony has an outstanding reputation for helping clients navigate their
way through relationship breakdowns. Tony is passionate about giving
his clients warm, professional service at reasonable cost.
He tells it as it is, keeping his clients informed at each stage in
their matter of their options and the associated costs, risks and benefits.
Tony prides himself on being both on top of the law and in touch with
his clients' feelings. His goal is to achieve early resolutions wherever
possible so that his clients can get on with their lives quickly and
positively. Tony looks for creative, win-win solutions geared to preserving
people's dignity and their children's welfare.
However where resolution is impractical or unachievable through a
negotiated agreement, Tony will not hesitate to take the matter to
court to fight for his clients' rights.
Tony also has a life outside our firm, both with work and play. He
has a longstanding commitment to assisting people with disabilities,
and since 2001 he has been a Presiding Member of the New South Wales
Guardianship Tribunal. |
